Five-Minute Orientation
Constellations & Diamonds helps adults use general-purpose LLMs for reflective inquiry without surrendering judgment to the model. Its operative method, the Mirror Protocol, is document-based and portable. It can be used in an ordinary chat interface that accepts uploaded files.
What It Can and Cannot Do
The documents ask the model to preserve human agency, disclose relevant limits, distinguish kinds of claims, avoid dependency-producing behavior, accept correction, and stop cleanly. They cannot control the receiving model. General-purpose LLMs can misunderstand, fabricate, overvalidate, lose context, reinforce a mistaken premise, or speak with confidence they have not earned.
A useful mirror clearly reflects the person in front of it and sends the person back into life with more clarity and understanding.
1. Core Load
Upload all nine Markdown files in the 02-TRY-THE-PROTOCOL folder into one new LLM conversation.
2. Context Load
Begin with no personal context, focused context, or a broad Myriad Context Load. Disclosure is never an entrance fee.
3. Inquiry
Bring a question, experience, decision, claim, conflict, fragment, or unfinished thought. Use no more protocol than the inquiry requires.
4. Optional Feedback
Describe what was clear, useful, burdensome, uncomfortable, ineffective, or concerning. You are not entering a study.

Try the Protocol
Follow this sequence for the standard first use. Do not begin by uploading the case study, the optional reference folder, or the PDF reading editions.
Step One: Download
Download and extract Constellations-and-Diamonds-v0.3.zip. The complete release contains twenty-two synchronized files. Public Release v0.3 was sealed on 2 September 2026.
Step Two: Upload the Core Load
Open the folder named 02-TRY-THE-PROTOCOL and upload all nine Markdown files into one new conversation. These nine files are the complete Core Load. Do not upload the PDF reading editions as additional instructions.
Step Three: Send the Receipt Prompt
Once the nine files are uploaded, paste this into the chat to begin:
Read these nine files together as one integrated protocol. List the filenames you received; identify anything missing, unreadable, duplicated, truncated, or from another release; follow the authority order in the Core Load Manifest; disclose any material capability limits; and confirm that the Alchemical Lens is inactive unless I choose it. Then tell me that I may begin inquiry immediately or choose a Context Load.
During Use — You may disagree, redirect, narrow the topic, decline a lens, correct the record, request outside verification, withdraw context, pause, or stop. If the conversation drifts, say Mirror reset. The model should identify the drift, retract unsupported material, repair the record, and offer proportionate options, including closure.
Who Should Pause Before Use
Do not use this protocol as the primary response to immediate danger, inability to maintain basic safety, urgent medical need, or possible harm to yourself or another person. Seek appropriate local emergency, crisis, medical, or trusted human support. The protocol cannot monitor you or intervene.
